2008 Formula Renault BARC Champion!!!
The championship is a 12 race series run at the UK’s premier circuits and features a field of identical single-seater chassis prepared by individual teams. It is an acknowledged proving ground for youngsters with Formula 1 ambitions wishing to climb the motorsport ladder.
During this year Ollie recorded five race wins, four other podiums (three 2nd’s and one 3rd) as well as six fastest laps to take the championship in dominant style by 44 points with 2 races to go.
Also in 2008 Ollie was awarded the BRDC Rising Star award by the most prestigious "invitation only" British Racing Drivers Club chaired by the 1996 Formula One World Championship, Damon Hill.
