Hancock Looks Foward To Donington
Following a disappointing start to the 2009 season, Ollie now looks forward to rounds 5 and 6 at the world famous Donington Park, host to the 2010 British Grand Prix.
The circuit is currently undergoing huge construction work to host the 2010 British Grand Prix and the MSA, Motorsport Association, previously deemed it too dangerous to race on as some of the track run off work had not been completed.
They then concluded it would not host major FIA races until the work had been completed, therefore leaving the Formula Renault UK Championship without a race weekend there.
In the last week, however, work to the track has resumed and the go ahead for the race has been given, much to the delight of Ollie.
"This is great news for the championship, and more so for me. Donington is one of the best tracks to race on, with high speed corners and great overtaking opportunities. It was one of the first tracks I raced a modern single seater racing car on so it will bring back those feelings, so Im really looking forward to this one."
