Hancock shortisted for Race Elite programme
Ollie Hancock has been shortlisted for the prestigious MSA British Racing Elite programme.
The 20-year old racer has been picked for the interview stage of the selection process, after which three drivers will be placed on the scheme, with a further four being chosen for the Academy part of the initiative.
Launched last year, the MSA British Racing Elite scheme is designed to help the cream of the UKs young driver talent as they look to build a career in motorsport. It offers drivers help in reaching the top levels of motorsport by providing coaching and expertise.
As well as working on track performance, engineering skills and technical understanding, drivers also develop the vital additional areas such as physical training, mind coaching, career management, sponsorship generation, promotion and media presentation that complete the all-round package of the modern motor racing driver.
Ollie is now 1 of 20 drivers in the final selection process and will face interviews later this month with a panel of judges which include David Leslie and Oliver Gavin.
